About
Navigate IEP provides educational advocacy grounded in both professional experience and personal understanding.
I am a teacher in a one-to-one learning environment, supporting students with diverse and complex needs. This work has given me a clear understanding of how IEPs are implemented in practice and how student needs may present in the classroom.
My connection to this work is also deeply personal. I was raised alongside my brother, who is nonverbal and on the autism spectrum. Growing up, I saw firsthand the impact that the right support—and the right advocacy—can have on a whole family. Working with an advocate made a meaningful difference for us, and it continues to shape the way I approach this work.
I have formal and in-depth training in data analysis, which allows me to confidently review and interpret assessment reports and educational evaluations. I help families make sense of complex information so they can better understand what it means for their child.
My approach is thoughtful, individualized, and grounded in both experience and empathy. I focus on understanding each child’s unique needs, helping families navigate available resources, and ensuring parents feel supported and clearly represented throughout their child’s education.
